Beginning June 6 masks no longer required at church
Dane County will remove the masking mandate and all other covid mandates beginning June 2, as the number of vaccinated Dane County residents approaches 75%,
In accord with this action, the Holy Cross Elders and Church Council are happy to announce that beginning Sunday, June 6, masks will no longer be required to attend worship services at Holy Cross. Additionally, the divider boughs will be removed from the pews, and while the worship service will still be on the screens in front of church, hymnals will be placed in the hymnal racks for those who would like to use them.
At the same time, the last thing we want is for any of our members to feel any sort of pressure not to wear a mask. In fact, if you're not vaccinated, or feel uncomfortable not wearing a mask, we encourage you to wear a mask.
The key is, mask or no mask, we would love to have you be a part of the in-person worship services at Holy Cross.
The Elders and Church Council would like to thank the entire congregation for your great patience, flexibility and unity as we've gone through this past year.
P.S. June 6 begins our summer schedule, when we return to one Sunday service at 9 am. Monday evenings worship will continue at 6:30 pm.
