Have you looked at the Endowment Fund board lately? Check it out! As of August 28, $28,455 has been donated. With the matching funds, $56,910 has been added to the Endowment Fund. We’re over half-way to our goal! The deadline for the matching funds is the end of December 2022. When you give to our endowment fund beyond your regular giving, you help build a church that lasts. Since only a portion of the fund is used each year, what you give grows. And what grows sustains our mission as a permanent source of support. In addition to the envelopes in the Welcome Center and in your church offering envelopes, contributions can be made online by going to the Holy Cross website. Click on Donate, then click Online. The Endowment Fund is one of the donation choices.

Multi-Congregational Bible Study
We hear a lot of things called “Christian” in American society, but some of them sound a little fishy. How can lay Christians know whether what they are being told is really what it claims to be? Rev Jonathan Fisk has written a book with the title Broken: 7 “Christian” Rules that Every Christians Ought to Break as Often as Possible that can be of help in sorting out true and false views of Christianity. Dr. Arthur Eggert will lead a 9-week class at 6:30 pm on Thursday evenings beginning September 15. The live sessions will be held at Peace Lutheran in Sun Prairie and will be 90 minutes long. If you cannot attend in person, you can join the class online or view the recorded sessions later. All the necessary information for registering and attending is available on the Online Classes page of the In Terra Pax website www.interrapaxlp.com. Necessary information, class notes, and session videos will be updated on this website on a weekly basis.
