APRIL 4th LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE MEETING REMINDER
Holy Cross has a small landscape committee. We are having our first in person meeting at 5PM in the Fireside room on April 4th . We are also looking for new members to help keep our Church and School grounds looking nice. General duties include picking up litter, raking, weeding, and deadheading plantings.
We are taking a new approach this year so everyone can work on their own time schedule. So, if you have the ability to volunteer some time for grounds maintenance it would be awesome to have more help. Anyone donating a couple hours when they can, helps a lot! We will also discuss the formation of a new Tree and Shrub maintenance committee, anyone interested, please plan to attend. If you can’t be there but are interested in joining, or if you are already a member, please send your name, email address and cell phone number to sherrie2450@gmail.com
Thank you!
Sherrie Oswald

What are the Smalcald Articles?
At Holy Cross, we only Call pastors who believe that the confessional statements in the Book of Concord are in agreement with scripture.  In fact we require our pastors to perform their duties in accordance with the Lutheran Confessional statements.  The Smalcald Articles are one of the confessional statements in the Book of Concord.  So, it's good for you to know what the Smalcald Articles are.  They were written by Martin Luther himself as his final testament of faith. The Smalcald Articles are available on the internet at https://www.gutenberg.org/files/273/273-h/273-h.htm. To study this confession, Dr. Arthur Eggert will lead a 5-week class at 6:30 pm on Thursday evenings beginning April 13. The live sessions will be held at Peace Lutheran in Sun Prairie and will be up to 90 minutes long. If you cannot attend in person, you can join the class online or view the recorded sessions later. All the necessary information for registering and attending is available on the Online Classes page of the In Terra Pax website www.interrapaxlp.com. Necessary information, class notes, and session videos will be updated on this website on a weekly basis.
